React.js Node developer for a fast growing startup

About the opportunity

This is a paid internship aimed at enthusiastic final year students / recent graduates.  Ideal candidates will be motivated to learn the goals of the product and organization and tailor the product in an optimal way to implement its market strategy.

• This is a 100% remote working opportunity

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to requirements gathering and analysis activities such as storyboarding, developing use cases, and creating functional requirements specifications.
• Design & implement frontend interface using tools within the React ecosystem.
• Operate within the dynamics of a team; exercise proper etiquette and citizenship during "team development" sprints.
• Take responsibility for feature-focused unit and system testing (built both by you and others).

What we're looking for:

•  Engineering skills in front end technologies like React, Typescript, or other modern JS frameworks to build scalable web applications or an eager to learn them and implement
• Comfortable with HTML and CSS and experience styling custom and isolated components
• Street smart and know how to reverse engineer system to benefit themselves
• Flexibility with changing scopes and priorities; we believe in iteration and work in a fast-paced industry
• Above all, we value a positive attitude, self-awareness, empathy, and a team player with a continuous improvement mindset
