Primary Role

• Odessa’s Engineering Team is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to join in development of design and implementation of applications in the Odessa solution suite.
• As an experienced Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards for code quality, testing, and intelligent architecture.

What you’ll do

• Work with a distributed engineering team to foster a smooth development process among onsite and offshore team members
• Maintains the best practices needed to ensure on time, quality software solution deliverables
• Responsible for design, code, configuration, and implementation of high quality software solutions
• Analyze and automate tasks through scripting and tools
• Work closely with technical leaders to help develop solution architecture, core system components and proof of concepts
• Work both autonomously and with relevant teams to tackle complex technical issues
• Participate in design, code, and QA walkthroughs and reviews

Basic qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in engineering, computer science or related field
• 1-3 years of experience in developing with C# and/or .NET framework 4.0+
• 1-3 years of enterprise software development experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of enterprise architecture, design patterns and SOA services

Preferred qualifications

• Experience working with ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, LINQ, NoSQL, and Message Queue
• Demonstrated understanding of best practices in building web based applications
• Familiarity with SQL Server / Oracle Databases
