Ruby on Rails Engineer

O3 Infotech is looking for a talented software engineer to help build out its product, Kelsa (http://kelsa.io) to help companies by empowering every team in their organization to set up, manage and automate their workflow. The role would entail working with areas such as database modeling, business logic, security, performance, API interaction with views, external API interaction, and making sure it is developed in a test-driven, architecturally sound manner.

Here are the job requirements: 
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent

- 3+ years of experience in Web Development

- 1+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails

- A working knowledge of the following associated technologies: HTML, CSS, SQL (Postgres/MySQL), Javascript, Git

- Solid knowledge of relational databases and effective database design

- Ability to write elegant code that is both performant and secure

- Experience with deploying building and deploying production-ready apps

Nice to have

- Knowledge and experience in the following technologies:  Elasticsearch, React, React Native

- Knowledge in external integrations via REST API

- Experience in working with Agile, knowledge of SCRUM processes

- Strong contributions to open source

- Knowledge about Workflow Management

Soft Skills

- Being able to communicate effectively in English

- Strong interpersonal skills and a team player

- An eagerness to remain current on latest technologies and introduce new thinking into the company’s infrastructure
