Senior React.js/Front-End Engineer @ Visor India (www.visor.com)

Visor is a hyper growth startup in the financial-tech space, backed by top tier investors with a lot of growth in the coming year and significant mobility to move around internally as we grow.

We are just getting started and are looking for curious and empathetic front end engineers who would love to be a part of shaping this product vision with us.

Job Description

● We can’t offer you artisan drinking water from a hidden valley in Norway but we can offer you the opportunity to work directly with the founders in shaping and executing this vision.

A little bit about you 
● You have hands on experience in HTML, Javascript, and CSS 
● You have at least 5 years of overall experience in crafting, building and shipping user experiences and product in front-end frameworks like React, Angular 
● You like to build responsive user-facing web applications that are built with mobile and desktop in mind 
● You have experience with medium to large-scale web applications 
● You have solid understanding of interface design principles 
● You are known for good aesthetic taste and design sense 
● You care a lot about delivering high-quality maintainable code 
● Experience turning mockups and wireframes into elegantly executed code 
● You like to work with product, design and other stakeholders in the company to identify customer pain points, come up with solutions, prototype, iterate and ship daily 
● You have used version control systems (Git, Subversion etc.) 
● You also have experience with Python or other major OO language like Java, Ruby 
● You are very independent and have ability to self-direct 
● You have strong analytical skills and algorithms knowledge 
● You have excellent command of written and spoken English 
● You are quick learner and keen to learn new tools, languages, and technologies 
● You have a deep understanding of basic CS fundamentals 
● You like to improve developer productivity by investing in tools, frameworks and internal products
