Senior MEAN/MERN Stack Engineer

About the Company:

Our client has built a mobile-focused marketing and analytics app that let's small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs) easily and quickly showcase their products to their new and existing customers via a cloud-based link over WhatsApp, Email, Facebook or SMS. Customers can easily browse these products and select items to book an order.

Position: Senior MERN / MEAN Stack Engineering Lead

What will you do :

- Own the product engineering: Architect, Design, Development, and Deployment.

- Perform hands-on development of features and solutions

- Provide quick & creative solutions to operational issues.

- Develop and architecture for security, scalability of users, data and ensure future maintainability of the product

- Plan engineering team growth by functional areas

- Establish engineering tools and processes for feature tracking, bug tracking, build, release, test management, and support

Our Ideal Match :

- 5+ years of technical experience in building scalable Web / mobile applications.

- JavaScript frontend framework/libraries like Angular JS, React, or Backbone.

- NodeJs and its framework/libraries like Express, Sails, Meteor.

- CSS and its pre-processors like SASS/LESS.

- Good understanding of REST APIs.

- Build tools like Grunt and Webpack.

- Ability to build a feature from scratch & drive it to completion.

- A willingness to learn and pick up new technology to deliver the best product.

- Proven experience in establishing engineering best practices for scalability of the product architecture and teams

- Proven experience of architecting and delivering highly scalable Web and Mobile applications

Bonus Skills:

- Knowledge of Datasets like Firebase, MongoDB, Redis.

- Open source contribution.

- End-user interaction during product design, development or support
