Are you a developer looking for a challenging role?

The Software Engineer in Test (SDET) with MoEngage is a unique hands-on position, requiring development competence wherein you will develop tests and tools to improve the quality of our product. You will have the opportunity to work with a small and collaborative team. You can learn more about how automated testing and the quality development is done in the industry.

What will you be doing

• Develop the Automated Test Suites for our products on web application and mobile sdks.
• Analyze and build automated reports/dashboards to communicate the test results.
• Instilling best practices for test suite automation and frameworks and documentation, making sure design meets requirements, and delivering high-quality software on tight schedules.

What we expect from you

Minimum:

• Strong coding skills, 2-3 years of experience in Core Development or Automated Testing.
• Proficiency in one of the high-level programming languages
• Self-awareness and passion to improve skills which can make the existing process better.

• You like small teams killing it in short sprints

Preferred:

• Preferable tech stack:

          Programming language: Python/Java

          Web Automation: Selenium

• Experience with Build Softwares tools such as Gradle/Maven, and Reporting tools.
• You have a knack for finding bottlenecks and thresholds in existing code/process and suggesting ways to improve them.

Bonus Points:

     Don't worry, we'll ramp you up but experience in any of these areas as well will help you hit the ground running:

• Experience with White box testing and Unit Tests
• Experience with Continuous Integration, Test Driven Development and Test Coverage
• Experience with Performance and testing
• Contribution to Open-source projects
• Experience in Linux/Unix operating systems and AWS cloud machines
