Rippling is a Y-Combinator company with an engineering center in Bangalore. We’re revolutionizing
the HR industry by creating a platform of seamless experience between companies and employees.
We are building our core team in Bangalore and looking for skilled engineers to join us. Most of our
engineering team comes from strong technical companies like Google, WalmartLabs, Facebook and
Microsoft, having had their own startup in the past.
Purpose & Impact of your role
You will be responsible for multiple areas of frontend development. To begin with —you will be
responsible for building out the Rippling platform UI and be primarily responsible for it. This is the
platform that acts as one directory for employee information across IT, HR, legal, finance and
Growth of your role
Rippling is changing the way how companies manage the day to day HR operations. You will be able
to impact how the world experiences it. You will be working primarily in an individual contributor
capacity. There are 2 directions that this could take you to:
Horizontal leadership — driving frontend initiatives via frontend community sync-ups or, High impact
IC — working on more “zoomed-out” and long-term projects that will move the needle in the long run.
➔ Strong understanding of JS fundamentals.
➔ Good understanding of at least one of the modern frameworks like ReactJs, AngularJs, Vuejs etc.
➔ Knowledge of front-end performance optimization is a bonus.
➔ Good interpersonal skills.

You are passionate about frontend. There must be some indications of the same. Front-enders in
Rippling give tech talks, go for conferences, write about front-end as well and are active on github
