Django Developer

What you will be doing

You will work on developing the back end of the platform as we continue to expand our family of products.

To be specific, most of your work would involve developing brand new products or brand new features for the existing products.

Make improvements to the deployment pipeline to ensure smooth and frequent releases

Work with frontend, backend, mobile, and management teams on implementation of new features

Implement efficient Python/Django APIs, and be able to write unit and integration tests.

Understand and utilize Django REST framework

Skills & requirements

3+ years professional software engineering experience or equivalent

Excellent communication skills.

An extremely hard worker who doesn't give up.

Passionate about what you do. (otherwise remote work is not for you)

Open to constructive feedback and a lifelong learner.

Able to come up with non-traditional solutions for software limitations

Able to identify gaps and limitations of the development process

Be familiar with monitoring and continuous integration tools

A typical day for a Mesh Engineer

We follow Scrum methodology with daily standup meetings to ensure progress is being made. Moreover we have 1-2 other meetings a week too so that there is continuous communication across the team. Apart from that you are free to plan your week and how you would achieve the tasks on your own! Mesh is completely deliverables based.

Please note that this would be completely remote position so prior freelance experience, startup experience or in general experience with a distributed team is a huge bonus.

Experience with Django Rest Framework, Python is required.
