HTML/CSS Designer/Programmer for a Data Analytics Startup

Mammoth Analytics, a startup based in London, has its technology center in Bangalore through it's fully owned subsidiary Edgemetric Solutions Private Limited. The product is an end-to-end cloud based (SaaS) analytics solution. It is a lightweight, on-demand product that provides powerful tools for users to warehouse, explore, visualize and share data.

Mission
Our goal is to re-invent the way people view their data.  We want to empower the non-technical user with a set of simple but powerful tools to manage data in ways not possible with any other product out in the market today.

Team
Our current team is comprised of people with solid backgrounds and extensive experience (IIT, Stanford, Carnegie Mellon, UIUC, Microsoft, Apple, Oracle). We are pushing the boundaries of what is possible today on the web using some of the best in breed frameworks in very creative ways.  Not only will you learn a great deal, but you will be required to think on your own and outside the box.  We care less about experience and more about bright individuals with solid CS/UX fundamentals

Technology Stack:
The technology stack comprises of  Bootstrap, Gulp, Sass, Angular, Rest APIs over Pyramid, Celery, PostgreSQL, all hosted on Amazon through Ansible. 

Skills Needed

As an HTML/CSS Designer, you would be working closely with our UX and Development team to contribute to and translate the UX specs to a performant, responsive, cross-browser compatible and maintenable HTML/CSS embedded with angular directives. We prefer highly modularized and a reusable framework and thus you are expected to productively utilize tools and practices that help achieve this. You should have 

• Strong experience in translating Wireframes, Prototypes, Mockups to responsive maintenable HTML/CSSs
• Understanding of visual design process, color theory and typography as an integral part of UX
• Functional experience in any one visual design tool
• Person of ideas, integrity, responsibility who looks continously at ways to delight the customer
• Technical communication that is meaningful and crisp

We have a dedicated room with Couch and Comforter. It's super ok here to take an afternoon refresher siesta. You can stay overnight too, when things go intense on work front (and sometimes they do). For easier times though, we have XBOX and Apple TV around.. Besides this we are quite religious about our chai break.
