Macula Healthcare is a hospital & healthcare consulting firm. As part of the marketing initiative, Macula is working on many online initiatives that are based on Wordpress sites and its management. We have currently 4 sites and as a developer, one has to improvise based on the strategies adopted.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Create new themes and design and develop and implement new websites
  • Designing and implementing new features and functionality
  • Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
  • Coordinate with plugin owners and troubleshoot the problems
  • Address all the client request on support tickets for WordPress sites

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

  • Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
  • Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
  • Strong design and web development experience with a focus on Word Press 
  • At least 3 years of experience of working on Wordpress at various levels
  • SEO related activities
  • Google Analytics
  • BSc, MSc, BE - computer science
