Programming Junkies aspiring to be Rock*s seeking Impossible Missions

We are a bootstrapped startup consisting of two irrational mad guys who hack technology and business. We are looking to add another(or two) more junkies to our core dev team who will be working with us in scaling our product to the next level.

We are building what we believe is the next big app and the proof of the pudding is its traction that has built up in just a month of its launch. And in this short time we have also managed to rope in an awesome list of clients. And yet sometime back some investors and mentors said it would be impossible to get any traction or clients and madness is what it would be if we indulged in it. So you see we are a bunch of irrationalists and dreamers who love doing the impossible.

We are looking for people with a passion and hunger for learning and acquiring knowledege and applying it to solve awesome problems. We are looking at junkies with the following knowledge set and expertise :

• Core Java, JSP, Servlet, Spring/Struts/JSF, Lucene/Solr, Hibernate, Jetty, Glassfish
• PHP , C , C++
• HTML 5, CSS 3, Javascript, jQuery
• SQL database, NoSQL database, Memcached, Caching mechanisms
• Distributed computing framework, Algorigthm designing

If your next thought is what would be the pay, we will pay you, but its not gonna be a fat pay. We are very conservative about our resources. Moreso even if the thought of money has crossed your mind at this point of time, we would suggest you stop reading any further. If becoming a rockstar is what you had in mind, then you may proceed.

Our process of recruiting you will not be the boring rigmarole mundane interview crap. Should you decide to blow away our mind and in love with what we do, then we would like you to spend two weeks at our pad and work with us. Ideally we would pick 10 folks to work with us over two weeks. At the end of two weeks , if you can put up with all the crap of starting up and the crap we throw at each other and our attitudes match, we'd have you on board. The reason for the two week process is to see how well you can fit with us. We are very particular about the people we work with. You may be a genius , but if you dont sync with us, no point in having you around. And like we said, we are looking for people who wanna be Rockstars...not Rockstars...and if you wanna be a Rockstar, well your life starts on the rocks.
