Category Manager at Mojoreads will have the end to end responsibility of the customer experience and growth of the ebook categories. Mojoreads strives to present its customers with the widest selection of E Books at the best prices - The Category manager's role is to acquire in the relevant assortment, design targeted promotions, manage partners including sellers and publishers

Category managers foresee what customer needs and incorporate them into the existing road map and will drive a noteworthy change or enhancement for customer experience influencing business needs based on their knowledge of competitive trends in the evolving e commerce industry ...

The effective contender for this high impact role will be a self- starter with an enthusiasm for independent, critical thinking, problem- solving, have data analysis skills, great voice and content creation ability, Help the marketing design and engineering team in designing category specific marketing/ promotional campaigns, POSM, Catalogues, Online listing, Content development and management for both Online as well as offline

Desired Candidate Profile

Work experience is preferred (2- 4.5 years).

Determination for e-commerce vertical.

Develop sales & marketing strategies while ensuring end to end category development happens for each category

Excellent written and verbal and vocal communication skills( Proven negotiation skills, influencing abilities )

Technical aptitude and agility to learn web- based tools

Strong numerical and analytical aptitude

Experience in project ownership and using customer data to identify and prioritize opportunities.

Ability to think strategically and tactically, with excellent attention to detail

Ability Work with cross functional teams - sales, product development, commercial etc. & partners for various marketing initiatives

Good organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines

Innovative, team oriented, and have a desire to participate in change and appreciate a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities.

The position will be based in Visakhapatnam.
