Locus was started by two ex-Amazon engineers on a mission to democratize logistics intelligence for businesses across industries. Our team constitutes of engineers from Indian Institute of Technology and Birla Institute of Technology & Science- Pilani, and Data Scientists with PhDs from Carnegie Mellon University and Tata Institute of Fundamental Research. Our multifaced product and business team is led by senior members from Barclays, Google & Goldman Sachs with immense operational execution experience.

Job Description : Backend Engineer 

2 - 4 years in a product company.
We prefer git repos, live demos, app store links over CV/Resume.
OOP implementation experience. Programming language does not matter. We use Java internally but have hired folks from non Java background.
Hands on experience in SQL, Dynamo DB, Postgres etc preferred. 

Tech stack - Java, React, Git, AWS, Python (for internal dashboard), Aurora etc. 

We have always maintained a small, but high-calibre engineering team, and we are now looking to make a couple of additions to the same. We are hiring for backend team. We are tech stack agnostic. We would prefer to have a look at your GitHub repo or a mobile app that you have built, over your academic/educational qualification. We are a founding team of engineers, and understand that good engineering is part science part art, we would like to provide you the tools for the science and the time for the art.

The most recent Locus fundraise was of $4 mil funding at $30 mil valuation.
