Engineering Manager

About:

LocoNav is seeking a highly ­motivated and inquisitive technical contributor to help execute the strategic direction for the company. You have a “can do” attitude and proven extensive experience building innovative web applications.

What you will do:

• Collaborate with the product team to help shape new platform features.
• Lead a team of junior developers, helping with design discussions, code reviews and sharing knowledge.
• Conducting regular 1 o 1s with the team and help with their career progression.
• Promote an environment of learning.
• Directly code on sophisticated internal tools required to scale our operations.
  

You should:

• Have at least 5 years of work experience in web technologies. Prior experience with Rails is an added advantage.
• Have managed / mentored a small team.
• Be able to think about DRY, simple and highly performant code.
• Have worked on at least one relational DB.
• Have good knowlege of deploying on AWS or any other cloud.
