LetzChange is an online, not for profit organisation that helps people leverage their social network for the causes they believe in. We have partnered with nonprofits working in diverse sectors and encourage generous donors to raise funds and invite their friends to do the same. Our primary objective is to make social giving to trusted NGO projects, a simple and credible experience.

Who are we looking for?

Using web development skills, the shortlisted candidate would be a part of a team that designs, codes, and oversees projects that help LetzChange in building a brand. In the long run, the individual will help in continuously evolving and improving our product to increase the impact and spread smiles on the faces of the underprivileged.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Product Designers, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to deliver compelling user-facing products.
• Integrate front-end code with back-end services by working collaboratively with software engineers.
• Implementing modern web UIs that are a delight for the users by working with designers to bring responsive webpages to life.
• Develop robust, fault-tolerant modules with React/AngularJS
• As there could be scenarios where you’d be required to multitask, we expect you to be good at managing long-term projects, small feature requests, and urgent bug-fix requests. Experience of working in a Scrum environment, a plus.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of JavaScript experience, including concepts like asynchronous programming, closures, React, and ES6.
• Experience with browser layout, cross-browser development practices, and browser degradation strategies, a plus.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JSON, Java Script, AJAX, REST API
• Understanding of SEO, Semantic HTML, Usability and Accessibility.
• Testing cross-browser, cross-platform and cross-device compatibility for inconsistencies.
• Experience integrating with internal and third-party APIs.
• Experience in using Version Control Systems like GIT
• Excellent communication skills and ability to learn and adapt to the fast moving technology environment.
