Technical Community Manager

Krunch is on a mission to use data to help the Developer Community Builders measure their impact and make more data driven decision. The Customer Marketing Executive exits to evangelize Krunch’s product to our target audiences – Developer Community Builders, through building relationships with our customers & our community; understand the challenges they face and work with the Krunch team on solving those challenges for the customers.

 

You will be working closely with a global team including our co-founders, product, UX, engineering and customer success team. You will be responsible for the success and growth of our existing customers. You will be our customers’ biggest fan internally and run campaigns to boost their adoption and use of -as well as their success with - our product. You will keep them up-to-date on the latest strategies and features as well.

Responsibilities

  • 30% of your time will be on driving customer awareness, which includes
    • Social Media
      • Build and manage Krunch’s social media profiles and presence including Twitter and LinkedIn
      • Create shareable content appropriate for specific networks
      • Listen and engage in relevant social discussion
      • Drive consistent, relevant traffic form our social network presence. Regularly track, analyse relevant metrics and report to the team
    • Blog
      • Provide feedback and edit other writers’ content, both copy and visual
      • Optimize content for search engines and lead generation
      • Regularly push the blog content on Krunch’s official website, dev.to and re-share on social media e.g. LinkedIn & Twitter
      • Track, analyse relevant metrics and report to the team
    • Website
      • New website: Create and optimize our web project management, hitting all deadlines by liaising with graphic designer, web engineer and other internal stakeholders
      • Copy editing and optimize content for SEO
      • Current website: Weekly and monthly Google Analytics monitoring and analysis

 

 

  • 70% of your time will be on helping the team to drive product adoption, activation and overall success of our existing customers, which includes
    • Assist on planning, executing and measuring the strategy and success of these campaigns and optimize your approach based on the resulting data
    • Educate Krunch’s customer base about value of our product and their benefits through customer newsletter, customer-focused content, social media monitoring, customer onboarding, customer support, feedback loop and more

      • Monitor and find industry related events (around 3 per months) and ask the team to attend, recap and post content via social media channels

Requirements 

  • 2-3 years of experience in communications, marketing analytics, agile project management
  • Technical background or good understanding of application development and IT operations a plus
  • Experience with Agile across the software development lifecycle and SaaS offerings a plus
  • Able to coordinate across many teams and perform in fast-moving startup environment
  • Proven ability to be self-directed and work with minimal supervision
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills with the ability to explain and translate complex technology concepts into simple and intuitive communications
