AI Bootcamp Director and Rapid Prototyping Engineer

About the Role

We are hiring a hands-on AI Bootcamp Director and Rapid Prototyping Engineer to direct the 2-day “Developer Prototyping Bootcamp” segment of EMERGENCE '26 (October 21–22, 2026). You will lead 65 regional software developers through an intensive code-level deep dive into building production-grade RAG pipelines, stateful graph agents, and multi-agent systems using industry-standard Python frameworks.

What the Candidatee Will Build and Lead

• 16 Hours of Live-Coding Labs: Architect and deliver live-coding labs, hands-on repository walkthroughs, and architecture building blocks for professional developers.
• Advanced RAG Engineering: Teach indexing, chunking strategies, hybrid search, and reranking using LlamaIndex and Vector Database ChromaDB.
• Stateful Multi-Agent Orchestration: Guide developers through multi-agent systems using LangGraph, including memory persistence and tool integration.
• Production Observability: Implement prompt evals, error tracing, and performance monitoring using LangSmith.
• Floor Leadership and Delegation: Directly command and delegate technical troubleshooting tasks to two graduate assistants on the workshop floor to maintain classroom flow.

Critical Skills and Inputs (Non-Negotiable)

1. Production Python and AI Engineering: 3+ years of production experience building and deploying LLM applications, custom RAG pipelines, and agentic workflows.
2. Mastery of Mainstream Developer Frameworks: Deep hands-on expertise in LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, and ChromaDB integrations.
3. Live Coding and Technical Pedagogy: Demonstrated ability to lead high-density developer bootcamps, troubleshoot local/cloud environment setups, and review developer code on the fly.
4. Practical Python and API Architecture: Advanced fluency in Python data structures (lists, dicts, Pydantic models), JSON schemas, and REST API authentication workflows.
5. High-Speed Technical Troubleshooting: Elite debugging capabilities; ability to instantly diagnose and correct broken API endpoints, environment conflicts, or syntax errors across student laptops under time pressure.
6. Resource and Runtime Management: Proven experience managing data pipelines, monitoring concurrent API key rate limits, and preventing runtime lag over high-density network environments.
