UI Designer

About the Role

Design and user experience is at the forefront of everything that we do. As a User Interface designer you will have the ability to visualize how people experience our products and bring that vision to life in a refined and magical manner. You would possess the intellect to understand complex work flows and the skills to transform them into easy-to-use and intuitive user designs so that anyone can use the products – from the first time user to the sophisticated expert. You would lead end-to-end activities like creating storyboards, process flows, user flows and wireframes to building user interface mockups and prototypes. At each design stage you would be smart enough to anticipate what our user’s need, incorporate those needs into designs and ensure that the final product delights them.

Responsibilities

• Defining and designing user interfaces for our new and existing products
• Develop high level and/or detailed storyboards, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
• Designing high definition graphic products like banners, digital adverts, banner images and so on
• Testing the designs on different browser platforms to ensure compatibility
• Test, evaluate, and iterate on mobile product features primarily on desktop, iOS and eventually Android

Minimum Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), Human–Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science (CS), or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum 6 months’ work experience in a related field
• Strong clean visual design sense
• Demonstrated experience in designing usable web-based and mobile interfaces
• Demonstrated knowledge of HTML
• Proficiency in CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Responsive and Angular JS
• Knowledge of cross-browser issues and strategies for designing compatible UI
• Demonstrated proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator and other visual design and wire-framing tools
• Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in animation using Adobe Flash, Photoshop, Maya and other related software’s
