Associate QA & Testing

Jumper.ai is a Singapore based, social commerce platform which enables brands to sell directly via social media and messaging app. We are looking for an Associate tester to join our Mumbai office. 

What You’ll Be Doing :

  • Testing the design and implementation of new features.
  • Performing the end to end testing, exhibiting ability through analytic skill and experience to anticipate the larger ramifications and interactions of a bug.
  • Logging bugs, detailed test results and screenshots in the bug tracker. (We use uBugTrack)
  • Analyzing user reports, recreate and isolate issues.
  • Building, modifying, and maintaining the Test Automation Framework
  • Providing feedback on usability and serviceability.

Skills : 

  • 1-2 years of experience in a QA or testing environment
  • An understanding of the software development life cycle as well as the business approach for the product
  • Should be a solid manual tester. Should have "Break the code" attitude. Ability to come up with multiple scenarios for a particular use case.
  • Passion for software quality assurance, problem detection, and analysis.
  • Analytical skills and decision-making ability.
  • Ability to stick to deadlines.
  • Experience working in an Agile Scrum methodology.
  • Should be willing to learn technical things and end-user behaviour- thereby, have the drive to make the product absolutely bug free!
  • Works well under pressure and tight deadlines within a fast-paced startup. 
  • Basic understanding of at least one programming language.(Python or Java).
  • Hands-on experience with automation testing using Selenium Web Driver is a plus.

Bonus:

  • Knowledge of APIs and how to test APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with third party Integrations.
