Software Engineer - Core Java Developer

We are expanding our vizag development team and we are hiring a Java developer with with strong core java fundamentals.

We are developing a state of the art video design application in the form of VRiddle/ SeeMyMarrriage where users can create animation grade content directly from a web browser. You will be working with the architects to develop modules concerned to the application. You will be responsible for the modules that you are developing.

The VRiddle / SeeMyMarriage code base was built to scale from day one. This has allowed for a unique environment where our team spends most of their time optimizing performance and releasing new features rather than fixing legacy code. The team strives to use the most appropriate tools for the tasks at hand, aiming to strike that carefully measured balance between getting things done and long-term maintainability of the code base and supporting infrastructure.

Responsibilities :

• Your day to day activities will consist of solution design and hands-on software development – working closely with leads, designers, and product managers to deliver features and functionality to our customers all over the world

• Once you’ve settled in and have a comfortable grasp of the product, environment, and processes, you’ll be given more responsibility and start leveraging your previous experience — bringing new ideas to the table concerning everything from feature development, process

• Developing solutions you’ve designed from the ground up through to deployment into production.

• Identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks within the application and broader infrastructure.

• Participating in design meetings, hiring interviews, and code reviews.

• Performance debugging, benchmarking and building awesome things in generalimprovement, and product suggestions.

Required Experience

• 3+ years experience developing web applications.

• Most of our code is in Java, so ideally you will be comfortable using Java or happy to learn.

• Firmly grounded computer science and engineering fundamentals including concurrency, multithreading, data structures, solution design, architecture, and design patterns.

• Working collaboratively with team members and communicating effectively

We are an ISB alum, led 10 year old media automation and design firm based in Visakhapatnam. We have launched a state of the art design platform. Our platform deploys a range of fresh, varied, and beautiful designs in various video / design template categories. Users create thousands of designs every day. And so, we are expanding our engineering team to better meet the user growth.

SeeMyMarriage / VRiddle provides a platform for users to customize thousands of online designs and videos. Users create fresh, sharp and elegant video content for various design categories. We're aiming to build the world’s goto video and design platform for non designers and non technical users to create exceptional content in the form of videos, GIF's, cards. And this is where you will fit in.
