Technical Product Manager

As a Technical product manager at Intelehealth, a typical day might include:
●Lead and drive all phases of product development, including: requirements gathering, functional specification, technical design, project planning, integration, test planning, implementation planning, and production turnover

●Gain a deep understanding of user experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas, improve user experience and drive the growth of programs and partnerships

●Be the voice of the different personas that we cater to: health worker, patient, doctor, program administrator

●Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners

●Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes

●Scope and prioritize activities based on business and user impact

●Work closely with the engineering team to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal

resources

●Drive product launches and promotions by working closely with the partnerships team

●Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding

●Represent the organization in partner meetings to solicit feedback on the products and services

●Promote use of new technologies and industry-leading trends

●Serve as project lead in the implementation and integration of our product platform

●Drive integration with OpenMRS, Apache Superset, a key and other open source technology used in our product suite


Requirements

You have:

Qualifications and Experience:

●6-8 years of overall experience, of which 2-4 years product management experience is required

●Software Engineering Degree (BE or ME in IT or Computer Science/BScIT/MScIT/BCA/MCA)

●Prior social sector or health sector experience is preferred

 

Skills:

●Proven work experience in product management

●Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle

●Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software

development and web technologies

●Hands on experience on Mean Stack development with good understanding on Angular 8+ & NodeJS

●Strong understand of Git, or other code versioning tools

●Proficient knowledge of Javascript

●Working knowledge of Android (Java), App DB is required.

●Proficient in SQL with a good knowledge of RDBMS & Data Analytics

●Experience working with OpenMRS or similar open source technologies is highly preferred

●Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms (such as mobile vs, desktop), and optimizing output to match the specific platform

●Data migration, transformation, and scripting

●Knowledge of APIs

●Familiar with management of hosting environment, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes

●Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application

● Knowledge of manual and automated testing platforms and unit tests

●Demonstrated ability to set strategy and adjust course as needed

●Ability to effectively gather requirements, digging beyond requests to get to needs

●Experience working directly with developers in an Agile environment is required

●Ability to understand the end user experience needs

●Ability to conduct requirement and competitive analysis

●Sound knowledge of the healthcare domain like health data privacy laws, public health and health data interoperability standards along with other digital health products is highly preferred.
