QA with exp in Selenium/ SOAP UI / Grinder/ Java

Qualifications/ Skills

• 2-7 years of software testing.
• Must have hands of knowledge on either Selenium, SOAP UI, Grinder or any other open source test tools.
• Very strong troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of JAVA based environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Web services, XML, SQL, XSLT, Xpath, XSD
• Experience with scripting languages such as Groovy, jRuby
• Good knowledge of Linux/Unix
• Understanding of a defect tracking tool such as JIRA.
• Understanding of agile development processes
• Familiarity in designing and building test tools, frameworks or scripts.

Job Responsibilities

1. Design test plan and prepare testing strategy document.
2. Identify the test cases which can be automated and add them to the automation framework.
3. Start different level of product/system testing and report bugs when found.
4. Discuss critical issues with the developers and help fixing it as soon as possible.
5. Generating business scenarios and test cases from user stories and having the ability to identify test data
6. Take ownership of all the defects assigned and identified and work towards closing them.
7. Identify debug issues and report defects.
8. Work with the development teams to improve testing and coverage.
9. Contribute in manual & automated process using the Agile methodology.
