Node Developer

The back-end developer will work in a team environment in the node.js backend and

execution of web and mobile products. We are looking for a self-starter who is excited to

learn and improve his or her skill set in the ever-evolving medium of the web. 

Our Engineering team replaces real touch-feel and represents unconventional stays and

gateways on our website, facilitating thousands of sells every month. We are responsible

for the complex systems that make your holidays happen. This entails the logistics of

finding the perfect holiday spot, the communication between our customers and our

partners, keeping multiple mobile applications in sync, payment and so much more. Our

Front End Engineers create the tools and applications necessary to connect our

customers, partners, and merchants with each other. They are responsible for creating

simple and easy to use user interfaces to let our operations team and partners do their

job as best as they can.

RESPONSIBILITIES : 

- You will lead technical design and delivery of service-oriented front end applications

that interact with other similar applications in the ByeByeCity ecosystem. 

- Current front end technologies include Node.js, MongoDB, REST API. EJS 

- Work closely with other departments throughout the company to understand their

needs and build to their requirements. 

Requirements : 

- 2-3+ Years of experience working as a Back End Engineer 

- Experience making RESTful endpoints with mongodb and Mysql 

- You should have a strong grasp of common OO design patterns, familiarity with a

variety of data-stores, and a passion for good API design and performance. 

- Ability to architect complex applications using frameworks and APIs 

- Must have practical experience using Node.js, Expressjs, linux, git, Mongodb 

- Extensive experience with client side HTML/ CSS/ JSON/ Javascript/ JQuery/ Angularjs 

- Must be comfortable developing end to end web application and know what it takes to

ship high quality software on-time 

- Good understanding of high-availability practices in the cloud and the latest mobile and

web development trends 

- Passion for programming and product development 

Bachelor's degree or higher in a related discipline (preferred but not required). Minimum

2+ years in a Node Back-end development position. Please contact with examples of
