Software Engineer - Automation

As an automation engineer, we are looking to hire a kick ass programmer / developer who will help us achieve end to end automation on 2 core aspects

• End to end testing workflow
• Backend Infra, Pipeline and Deployment

This is not a QA role, but an engineering position. Do not apply if you dont have very good programming experience in general and preferably programming experience with Node.js. Exeprience with Cloud infrastrcuture and AWS is highly recommended.

We are a team of passionate engineers where everyone including the CTO is a programmer and contributor to the codebase. We want to hire people who are smart enough to manage themselves and don't need to be micromanaged. We have a very clearly laid out process to build, test and deploy features using the best in class tools and practices. We believe in very short release cycles and almost release to production 2 times a week. We have a strict policy of peer code review, continuous testing in place to ensure we ship the best in class product. Our working style is very flexible with timings. We have daily stand ups for quick check-ins, but generally team members are free to pick timings that work best for them, as long as they ship high quality product without delays. We dont insist our team to work on weekends, since we think couple of days of rest is essential after 5 days of hard work. But sometimes out of passion and out of business need people do work over the weekends.

Our hiring process would involve the below

a) Short text chat with the senior leadership
b) If culturally you are a fit, you would do a short 2-3 day assignment. We want to see you build a real product and write real code before we know you are the best fit for our team
c) If you do well in your assignment, then we move very quickly (within a day or two) to make you an offer.
