Backend Engineer (Django / Flask)

At Inkredo, we are building data infrastructure for financial organisations and fin-techs catering to corporate finance/ private wealth. We have two products - Inkredo & Inkrobo - that analyse bank statements and invoices respectively. This position is for a third product which is a digital infrastructure for enterprise-level data that can be instantly aggregated so that benefactors, as well as beneficiaries, can easily make decisions without depending on intermediaries.

Responsibilities

  • Build, own & maintain backend data infrastructure
  • Design and implement database and storage solutions that fit the need for both data transaction & reporting
  • Build highly scalable and robust backend architecture ground up
  • Test, debug and maintain the application software throughout the product lifecycle

Requirements

  • Excellent ability to prioritise & communicate in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in working on backend platforms using Python - Django + Flask
  • Strong relational database experience (PostgreSQL)
  • Strong familiarity with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, ELB)
  • Working knowledge of API development for mobile/ web use
  • Contributions to open-source are a plus
