Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality web applications using Ruby (on Rails)
  • Ensure that the Indorse platform is built with the best solutions for scalability, availability, and security
  • Provide input into selecting the right technologies for the job at hand
  • Work within a dynamic agile environment

Requirements

  • 1-3+ years of Ruby (on Rails) development
  • Knowledge of web stack technologies such as jQuery, HTML/CSS and MySQL/PostgreSQL
  • Strong grasp of Javascript fundamentals and its object-oriented programming model
  • Unit testing: TestUnit, RSpec
  • Automated Integration: Cucumber, Webrat, Capybara, Selenium
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Some Unix or Linux experience
  • Computer Science or equivalent degree
  • Hard working and driven by challenge
