Graphic Designer - Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC)

As part of its ongoing recruitment drive, I-PAC is looking at expanding its Digital, Media and Research Team (DMRT). Current members of this team come with a broad range of experience, from managing political communications at leading agencies, to managing external relations at International Governmental Organizations.

Who is I-PAC looking for?

• We are looking for junior graphics designers with excellent knowledge in Corel Draw, Photoshop and Illustrator.
• You are expected to conceptualize and design graphics for social media pages, posters and hoardings.
• You will be expected to come up with new ideas and execute them with the team.
• You would be expected to use camera when required and should be open to travel at any given time as per requirement.
• We are looking for someone who is open to working long hours, sometimes all days of the week especially during campaigns.

Educational Background & Work Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree (preferably from a reputed institution)
• Work experience of 0-2 years in graphics designing.
• Knowledge of and prior working experience with video editing is preferable.
• Audio dubbing  experience is preferable.
• Must be fluent in English, knowledge of Hindi and well versed in local language (Telugu / Tamil) is desirable

About Digital, Media and Research Team

Our DMRT manages the communications aspects of the campaign with the leader as its primary focus. With carefully crafted messages, the team helps manage the various channels of communications of the leaders such as their official social media properties, their media interactions, speech inputs, and briefing notes for communication with various stakeholders. We conduct extensive research from the purview of political communications and conceptualize and execute innovative leader centric communications campaigns. The precise, often clinical nature of our interventions across various channels enables us to trigger positive conversations around the leader.

About I-PAC

Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC) (est. April 2015) is India's first cross party advocacy group, which endeavors to support the election of visionary, progressive and inclusive leaders to public offices. With our members previously organized under the banner of Citizens for Accountable Governance (CAG) (est. 2013), we have been operating in the socio-political domain for the last five years and have been lauded as the “Powerhouse that changed [election] campaigning in India forever”. Set up with the ambitious goal of reinventing the socio-political space, I-PAC provides a platform for young professionals to meaningfully associate with electoral politics and contribute to policy making and governance by setting the agenda for incoming governments.

Compensation

We are probably not the top paymasters in the market, but if you are good we will surely try meeting your expectations. Arrangements for travel and stay during field deployment are provided by the company itself.
