 The Opportunity

 As an Applications Owner with Illumine Foundation, you will be part of the core team working on a large-scale educational initiative that aims to provide deep inner & career enablement to students across several large public technical universities throughout India.  The Role

Your role in this initiative is to ensure the end-to-end development of a strong ecosystem of best-in-class, robust, digital knowledge platforms & services (web-based) and ensure their smooth integration & set-up within the university setting.

This is an extremely crucial role in the scaling of this initiative. As the initiative grows and increases in it's reach and scope, the platforms will need to continuously evolve and deliver customized new-age coaching & knowledge tools and learning resources, in a simple & accessible manner, to thousands of college faculty and millions of student users across the country, year on year.

 The Ideal Candidate

An important aspect of this job is to work closely along with the technology practitioners at Illumine Lab in order to understand the product visions & underlying knowledge/ solution architectures for extremely new-age digital enablement platforms and tools, and then translate them into technological build specifications that are viable & implementable in the given time-frames.

 We are looking for a unique combination of someone with a strong technological foundation (i.e. who has solid core expertise & knowledge of emerging technologies & basic proficiency in full-stack web app development) as well as a product management orientation (i.e. someone who can end-to-end oversee a product from vision to implementation & can strategise for it's continuous evolution based on user feedback from the ground)

 Some core competencies that would be enable you to succeed in this role:

 Ability to take full ownership for the technology builds (there would be least 5-6 independent knowledge platforms & services that would be owning over next year itself as part of the initiative)

• Ability to work collaboratively with development partners & agencies (Since we aren't a tech company - the actually development would be mostly outsourced)
• Ability to work at rapid speeds to keep delivery commitments (ready in-time for roll-out on the ground)
• Capacity to drive continuous innovation & evolution of the range of knowledge platforms & digital tools based on user analytics and emerging digital possibilities in the world
• Agility to deal with ambiguity and change
• Ability to design smart tech solutionsthat bring down costs and increase efficiencies

From a technical point of view, responsibilities include -

• Understanding needs and product vision for each of the digital tools or platforms or services
• Driving functional scope definition exercise
• Architecture and Framework design
• Working with Vendor team to get it built & with small in-house team for some aspects of the build
• User acceptance testing & Integrity to original product vision checks
• Community embedment, adoption, and rollout support
