Senior Javascript Engineer (UI/UX)

Ideaphora is a product company that is changing the way students learn online. We are working on R&D to improve online interaction with educational and other resources. We have a large US based client that is using a customized solution on their platform and we are in the process of expanding our own suite of products and features.

We are looking for a full-time Senior Javascript Engineer with a minimum of 4 years of continuous hands-on experience in three or more of the following:

• Javascript/JQuery - Event handling;
• Javascript/JQuery - Local/session storage (in offline applications) and/or webworkers
• Object oriented programming, Prototyping
• Fabric.js or any other similar HTML5 Canvas library for graphics
• Angular/Backbone/Node/Kendo or other similar javascript framework
• Excellent grasp of code design
• Experience with interactive and responsive web applications (not static vanilla web pages)
• Maths/Geometry and/or image processing/graphics concepts

The following are nice to have:

• Phone Gap; Porting browser based applications to Android/iOS applications
• Game development
• Native iOS / Android application development
• Advanced HTML5/CSS3 

As a JS engineer you will implement new features, enhance existing features, and work with our R&D engineers to develop and test various UX/UI options. You should engineer solutions rather than just "write code". A passion for problem solving in a start-up environment is a must! You will be expected to hit the ground running. Salaries are competitive and commensurate with experience.

The position is full-time, on-site. Freelancers will be considered only if they are willing to work full-time, on-site.

You must be based in Bangalore and be prepared for a technical face-to-face interview.
