Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer- Simulation

HyperSpec is based out of California, USA. We are a group of passionate and humble individuals working towards a common cause of accelerating the self driving future. We understand the state of the technology and can separate hype from facts. Self driving cars were supposed to be on the roads in 2020. However in the process of developing the technology, several bottlenecks were discovered with respect to the unit economics of the sensor suite, compute stack and data management. What we are developing disrupts all three bottlenecks, greatly accelerating roadmaps for self driving cars. We are creating AI Cameras that have super resolution.
About the role :

Develop software stack required for simulating and testing real time perception required by autonomous vehicles. 

<h3>Tasks</h3>
  • Develop tools to test the AV software 
  • Develop simulation testing process
  • Develop test suites (unit, integration, system)
  • Partner with System Test Engineers to design and implement new features
<h3>Requirements:</h3>
  • BS in computer science or equivalent real-world experience
  • 5+ years of experience writing clean, fast, reliable and highly scalable software preferably in Python or C++
  • Strong 2D and/or 3D math skills
  • Experience with RPCs (e.g. gRPC)
  • Good understanding of distributed systems and computer architecture fundamentals
  • Attention to detail and a passion for correctness
  • Ability to communicate well across teams of developers and other staff
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment where immediate impact is a result of your efforts and where your contribution is highly visible
