About Holidify

Holidify is a travel planning platform founded by IIT Bombay alumni back in 2013. After bootstrapping for last few years and raising an angel round, we are now a profitable venture. We have been doubling our traffic every six months, and we are currently doing more than 3.5 Million Unique Monthly Visitors.

Holidify wants to simplify the way people travel, helping them to make better travel decisions on where to go, what to do there and so on. We want Holidify to be the first and the only place to research about any travel plan, be it India or Global. We have so far focussed on Indian destinations mostly, but are now going global by adding content from international destinations. We had raised an angel round 2 years back, and we are now a profitable startup, growing at a good pace every month.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Content Development Projects including project ideation, strategizing and implementation
• Hire, train and manage content development interns/freelancers
• Edit, proofread and improve content written by writers and interns
• Track the key metrics on your projects focused on organic search, social media or user experience
• Create and publish engaging content to simplify holiday planning experience

As part of the initial team of a growing startup, you might be required to perform other roles which benefit the startup from time to time.

Skills Required

• A keen sense of travel planning
• Eager to grow and learn in a fast paced startup environment with no strict working hours
• Excellent command of English grammar, punctuation and language
• 0-2 years of Content Writing Experience
• Prior experience in Digital Content Marketing is a plus
• Hard-working: We work six days a week, however, there are no fixed working hours.

Job Location

This profile is available in Jaipur, Delhi and Bangalore.

For people in Jaipur:

We currently have a home-based office in Jaipur (Jagatpura), and you would be required to visit the office on most days. However, work from home will be allowed whenever in-person meetings are not necessary.

For people in Bangalore:  

We will be opening a home-based office in Bangalore in a few months. You can work from your own home till then. However, once the office opens up, you would be required to visit the office on most days. However, work from home will be allowed whenever in-person meetings are not necessary.

For people in Delhi:

You can work from home on most days, but you might be required to meet our team-member in Delhi in some cafe/home whenever required. You might also be required to visit our Jaipur based home cum office space for specific requirements, especially in the initial days.

As a content manager at Holidify, you would be a key pillar in this mission, both in Indian Content Strategy and laying the stepping stones for our Foreign Projects, directly working with the founders.
