SocialBoat is a tool designed for creators to launch a live course in less than 5 minutes. We believe that every creator has a wealth of knowledge about their domain, and they hold incredible potential to earn by turning into educators and helping others learn their skills. Be it a beauty expert launching a makeup course to a finance expert teaching personal finance, we want to empower more than 100M+ creators around the world to get paid for their skills.

Who are we looking for?

We are searching for software developers who are passionate, have a high sense of ownership and a great design sense. A few other skills that might help in addition to passion would be:

1. Expertise in React & NextJS
2. Typescript/Javascript
3. TailwindCSS
4. Serverless functions & NoSQL databases
5. React Native is a plus
6. A good Spotify playlist

What will you do?

You will closely work with the founders to work in one of the following projects:

• Video chat for educators: Imagine a video chat optimized for educators

• Platform builder: A no code platform for creators to create courses

• Analytics: Tracking and reporting actionable analytics to creators.

Imagine that you are a fitness influencer in addition to being a star programmer. You have a bunch of videos that you have made of you giving fitness advice on how to get fit. Now, you want to monetize this content by launching your website. Your aim is to build a website with the following features:

1. The home page of the website should have a basic overview of your profile. Perhaps a picture, your name, a line about you and your social media links
2. The home must have a search bar for users to search through the different videos you have
3. Simple drag and drop utility for someone to change the order of the videos. (This will be the default order of videos, when the search bar has an empty string)

2. The website should be mobile friendly
3. Be creative with the design. Make the video cards beautiful. Good UI & performance is very important.
