We experienced a situation where people wanted to watch the latest flicks but were unable to, as the frequency of movies releasing in their locality was very less or watching a movie with their entire family seemed to be expensive.On the other side, we realized producers were struggling to take their movies across the world, struggling to reach the worldwide audiences. And the industry was plagued by Piracy.

Then Struck an idea! Why not create a revolution in online video streaming by legally bringing the latest Tamil movies in HD quality to ardent cinema audiences worldwide. And we immediately assembled our avengers!

Thus HeroTalkies was born!    

Led by our self-driven, startup-obsessed, passionate, and crazy team,  we are the fastest growing online portal, striving to take movies to all platforms where the conventional distribution  mediums cannot take! The day is not too far when we will become “The Website of choice” to watch movies at affordable subscription prices.

In the past one year, we have helped more than 4000 subscribers spread over 50 countries  with one mission - To  be a Hero by watching movies legally and at your convenience on HeroTalkies.

• Good Knowledge in Ruby on Rails Framework (3.x and 4.x)
• To design and code new features and enhancements for web sites, APIs and backend platforms
• Build web applications that work equally well on desktop and mobile devices
• Design skills with experience in object-oriented methodologies, design patterns, database design, and data modeling
• Exposed to  Relational databases such as MySQL
• Knowledge on Third party API's such as Payment Gateways
• Familiar Front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 & jQuery
• Deployment and Maintenance of the application on Cloud platforms such as AWS
• Follow Agile development methodology
