Hatio Innovations Private Limited is a fully owned subsidiary of BillDesk, India's largest online payment services company, working on FinTech products and software services.

We are looking for an experienced Senior UX Designer capable of designing software and platforms that meet people’s needs. You will combine interfaces and workflows to enhance user experience.

In this role, you should be an analytical and creative designer who is able to grasp user needs and solve problems. A strong portfolio of successful UX and other technical projects is essential. Ultimately, you will make our products more user-friendly and intuitive to attract and retain customers.

Responsibilities

• Believe in craftsmanship and create elegant and compelling designs.
• Design and deliver wireframes, storyboards, user flows, prototypes, process flows and mockups to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
• Defining a problem statement, what success should look like and how the design solution was arrived at.
• Work together with Product Managers and help to define the requirements, not just translating them into designs. Facilitate and draw the best design ideas from teammates.
• Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs
• Facilitate the client’s product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products.
• Create and assess design solutions based on user research data and user goals.
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
• Consider existing applications and evaluate their UX (user experience) effectiveness.
• Communicate scenarios (hypothetical users), end-to-end experiences, interaction models,and screen designs to other people working on a product.
• Work with creative directors and visual designers to incorporate a visual or brand identity into the finished product.

 Requirements

• Degree or Post Graduation in Interaction Design, Product Design, HCI or have had relevant work experience.
• 4+ years of experience in designing for digital products.
• Experience working with mobile and web platforms.
• A strong portfolio exhibiting your UX strategy and design skills.
• Comfortable with ambiguity, and with the ability to prioritize; demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects (both small and large) and adjust to changing priorities.
• Strong ability to recognize and predict use cases and user interaction, including happy path as well as edge and corner cases, and incorporate them in designs.
• Ability to incorporate Brand Identity and Values into visually balanced designs.
• Excellent Leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to take ideas, concepts, and wireframes into attractive and seamless user interfaces.
• Analytical mind with a business acumen.
• Good understanding of information design, usability, and user psychology.

 Tools

• Expertise in Balsamiq, Sketch, Figma etc.
• Familiar with Marvel (or similar screen-based prototyping tools).
• Familiarity with Flinto/Principle or even After Effects would be considered a plus.
• Skillset including illustration, branding capabilities, motion design, etc. would be considered a plus.
