Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer who can help build, maintain and optimize our tech-stack by taking ownership over one or more modules across our supply chain – production technology (IOT-driven quality control), logistics & supply chain technology (asset management, advanced warehousing and delivery tracking) or customer facing technology (subscription e-commerce).

The technical skillset needed includes:

1. Minimum 1 year professional experience in Node.js
2. Extensive experience in building APIs and web services in REST & JSON.
3. A familiarity with basic SOA concepts
4. Familiarity with MongoDB
5. (Not necessary, but will be helpful) Any past hands-on experience in relevant project areas – IOT, logistics or e-commerce CRMs, will be a plus.

Additional responsibility will include:

1. Setting and managing project timelines
2. Creating technical specifications and architecture documentation
3. Running thorough QC on the code
4. Overseeing Emerging Technology Strategy, Development, and Deployment.
5. Ensure That The Technology Infrastructure is Available and Operational 24x7
6. Plan and implement policies, procedures and systems to avoid service interruptions and continuously improve infrastructure operations
