Senior Business Analyst & Product Owner (remote)

This opportunity is with Handelnine Global, an e-commerce company that owns and
operates 15+ online retail brands in over 60 countries. The company has offices in India as well
as the USA and serves global markets including the UK, USA, Europe, Australia, Middle
East and Southeast Asia.

We’re rapidly growing our core business, expanding internal tools and launching new products,
and are opening this position to support our growth.
The role is 100% remote.

About the Role:
This role offers a unique opportunity to combine your Business Analysis expertise with
involvement in product ownership activities. You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing
business requirements for e-commerce, ERP & SaaS projects, while also contributing to product
strategy and backlog management. You will work closely with stakeholders and the
development team.

The role offers a potential to develop into a Product Manager role managing either internal or SaaS products.

Role and Responsibilities:
● Gather and analyze business requirements for e-commerce, ERP and SaaS projects.
● Create and maintain user stories, define acceptance criteria.
● Document complex processes in existing systems.
● Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders.
● Conduct user research and define user needs and pain points.
● Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
● Help prioritize user stories and backlog items based on stakeholder priorities and
business impact.
● Collaborate with the development team to clarify requirements, estimate effort, and manage expectations.

● Suggest feature improvements and/or new features that address business needs.
● Participate in product discussions and provide insights into user needs and business impact.

Desired Candidate Profile
● 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
● Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies (e.g., BABOK Guide).
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to gather and analyze complex requirements.
● Expertise in user experience (UX) research and documentation.
● Familiarity with agile product management principles and frameworks.
● Ability to prioritize and manage product backlogs.
● Experience working in a cross-functional environment.
● Proficiency in Jira and other relevant tools (e.g., user experience research tools).
● Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
● Would be a benefit:
