Product Manager

 We'recurrently  looking for a Product Manager who can :

  • Internalise the product vision 

  • Ruthlessly abstract product functionality from 'requirements' flowing in from all quarters 

  • Stay true to the product 

  • Communicate broad product ideas as well as intricate feature specifications, clearly and concisely  

  • Develop and help propagate intuition on the product across the organisation 

  • Work with end customers to identify the true cause of problems 

  • Work with other product managers to build a co-ordinated, coherent and stable product 

 

Your key responsibilities: 

  • Work with Business to derive product features based on loose requirements 

  • Slice user stories to deliver verifiable value 

  • Take a lead role in acceptance testing and assimilate feedback to groom the backlog 

  • Own the backlog 

  • Assist the Engineering team with their story estimates, sprint loading, story sequencing 
     

Basic skills: 

  • You're naturally approachable and easy to tell difficult ideas to 

  • Systematic approach to organizing and prioritising a backlog 

  • You want to comprehend things thoroughly, and yet recognise the value of intuition 

  • You have an aesthetic sense and can tell when something is broken 

  • You deeply understand web technologies and their evolution 

 Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors’ degree in engineering or computer science preferred 

  • Entrepreneurial attitude to work 

  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Product Management and 1+ years of experience in an agile or lean product development environment
