Fullstack Engineer at BLR based startup Goodbox (Remote-OK)

Goodbox is looking for a Fullstack Engineers for taking our efforts on the web front end to the next level. An ideal fit would be someone who is passionate about building products from scratch, possesses an eye for detail, loves responsibility and would like to work with startups. Prior work experience is good, but not a necessary condition to apply. Candidates immediately available will be preferred.

Requirements

• Good knowledge on React, Nodejs, html and css is a must
• You should understand what it takes to do good performance on the web (lightshouse tool, FCP, TTI, etc)
• You should be comfortable at both writing modular and maintainable code for long term and hacking out an mvp to do quick experiment.
• Maintain and implement best practises of modern web dev in the company - security, architecture and performance wise.
• Develop APIs and handle various frontend applications

Tech Stack: - (Current) React for the frontend. Python-flask and node-express for backend. We deploy on GCP Kubernetes.

Working:  We're currently working remotely. We expect to remain this way for foreseeable future. We do make good use of slack/zoom/goolge meet and whatsapp for communicating and collaborating with teammates for work.

NOTE: We're at the early stages of getting product market fit (with inbound interest from local supermarkets in BLR and growth direction in orders delivered). Folks who love generic problem solving will have awesome canvas to paint on. If you're looking for strutured and defined development role, then please do NOT apply. This is the reason why there is no experience requirement. Happy to have freshers/interns to mid level engineers.

About Goodbox:

Goodbox is building the Instacart of India by building an online grocery platform that helps consumers to order from local supermarkets and get orders fulfilled within 2 hours. We power online storefront as well as give logistics support for the local grocery supermarkets to help them be competitive with the big guys. We believe in making the local grocer be competitive enough that it can take the whole consumption potential around its 1-2 km radius. Higher concentration of demand, Sensible delivery radius and flexible delivery SLA has made us be operationally profitable !! We're now in expansion mode.
