Looking for top-notch android/linux kernel developers to port our modified kernel to different hand-set manufacturers and multiple phone models.  In addition to porting, the work will involve in building additional modules for kernel hardening using C++.  The work will involve deeper understanding of linux kernel, GCC, G++, device drivers, prevention techniques in handling cyber intrusion and mobile security.  Any experience with medical devices and/or IOT devices running linux will be an added advantage. 

Extensive background in  Linux/ embedded Linux. Any other Real Time Operating Systems is a positive.  Familiar in the following areas of firmware development concepts / device drivers for power management, camera, USB, wireless (WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC), encryption, data transfer from mobile to cloud and vice versa.  Deeper Understanding of: kernel development, Android porting, threads, inter-process communications, and profiling.

Selected candidates will work some of the best minds in IIT and US based security researchers. Work will be based in and around IIT Madras / IIT Research Park in Chennai and some travel may be required to visit our proposed Pune research lab facilities.  

We are looking for a seasoned "self-starter" who can perform well in a small team environment with aggressive goals and timescales. Candidates with lesser experience can also be considered for internship.  Candidates who are looking for full time employment can also apply as well as free-lance consultants.
