Backend Developer for a Stealth Startup

Introduction

We’re a stealth mode startup based out of Bangalore founded by bunch of technocrats. We’re building next generation recruitment platform (SaaS) backing the professional tool for career assistance. It has high-tech components of AI viz. data mining, machine learning, NLP, web crawling, multimedia communication, cutting-edge adaptive testing methodology, value driven professional networking etc.

Role

Backend Developer: Design, develop and deliver core product backend features and expose integration APIs for clients (Android, Website).

Required Experience

• Computer Science graduate.
• 4-7 years of Java development experience.

 Technical Qualifications

• Good design and coding skills.
• Expertise in Core Java with high-tech backend development.
• Expertise in API design for integration with mobile devices and desktop clients.
• Familiar with PLAY framework.
• Good knowledge of modern databases like MongoDB, ElasticSearch.
• Experience with frontend frameworks like Angular JS will be a plus.
• Experience with AWS Cloud Computing Services will be a plus.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions under minimal supervision.

Working Model

• Work from Home is fine with periodic Skype sync-ups and weekly face to face meeting.
• Time commitment of at-least 20 hours/week.

Compensation

• Decent ESOPs depending on quality of candidate :)
• Token stipend of 15K per month, post-funding it will be adequately compensated.
