Manual Testing (QA) Engineer

We are actively looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) engineer to develop and execute manual tests to ensure high product quality and thereby play an important part in our product development process.  Our ideal candidate will be responsible for executing extensive testing before product launches to ensure excellent customer experiences. Key Responsibilities include:

• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents
• Liaise with internal teams to identify new business and system requirements
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Develop and apply manual testing processes to meet high quality standards
• Write and execute API test scripts with Postman
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Qualifications: BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Min 1yr experience in Mobile App testing and API testing with Postman
• Experience with Selenium and frameworks like TestNG, Log4j, etc is a plus
• Experience with performance, smoke and security testing is a plus
• Proven work experience in software quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Passion for software engineering and a history of self-learning
