Senior Full Stack Web Developer (LAMP + Firebase)

Wing is seeking a Senior Full Stack Web Developer, to build, extend, and maintain web applications, both internal, client-facing, and backend operational. We are seeking a highly skilled individual with strong interpersonal skills to be on a fast-track to a leadership position.

Responsibilities

• Leading web projects from start (ideating, architecture design) to finish (testing, bug-fixing)
• Build, extend & maintain web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, MySQL, Firebase

• Build internal PHP API wrappers using third party SDKs and REST APIs
• Architect backend systems for new projects using different development methodologies, with particular emphasis on microservices architecture
• Interact with other engineers, CTO, other high-level management (CEO, COO, CMO, Head of Global Operations), and engineers & engineering teams from partner organizations/companies
• Hybrid work-from-home/office position, occasionally come into our local operations office, observe real-world use of projects on the operations floor, and take notes for improvements
• Proposing ideas to engineering management (CTO, CEO)
• Design web application mockups using design applications (e.g. Adobe XD, Photoshop, Figma)
• Take on the improvement of design of web projects using advanced CSS, leveraging your eye for design
• Improving code quality, application efficiency
• Documenting APIs you create

Requirements

• At least 4 years of professional web development experience
• Expert-level experience required with PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Firebase
• Expert-level experience required with REST APIs and using/working with web-available SDKs
• Expert-level design and CSS experience
• Experienced with Ubuntu CLI and using FTP
• Experienced with Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services
• Experience with Git, CI/CD
• Experience & knowledge with architectural patterns, with a particular focus on microservices architecture
• Some product management / project management experience
• Self-starter/independent attitude required, this is a fast-growing company with many projects going on at the same time
• Strong communicator & interpersonal skills, ability to work well with stakeholders & engineers at partner companies
• Preferred, experience with Photoshop
• Preferred, at least 1 year experience with remote work

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
