Senior IT Lead

The information technology lead is responsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of all IT functions at the company. This includes directing all IT operations to meet customer requirements as well as the support and maintenance of existing applications and development of new technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary subject matter advisor on IT related matters and provide guidance to developers. Ensure the hiring of right staff and provide feedback to Head of Projects to help with staff development to meet business needs.

• Establish and implement key IT best practices, ensuring they are being adhered to and documented

according to industry standards. Review and improve technical processes to enhance work

productivity.

• Ensures the consistency and maintainability of existing applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures for implementing technical solutions.

• Ensure that expectations within and between organizations with regards to project management, scoping, turnaround times, and end-to-end implementation of technology including end-to-end testing are well managed.

• Review system architecture, codes, test plans.

• Work closely with Head of Projects to direct and prioritize tech resources based on project needs.

• Participates on all hardware and software evaluations.

• Hands on coding is expected.

Required Education and Experience

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or related experience.

2. Minimum of eight (8) years of experience within information technology, and leading a team of IT

   personnel. Experience in managing an offshore tech team is a plus.

3. Knowledge in and able to review Python, Django, PHP, Node.js, Java, CSS, Javascript, React,

   Angular, WordPress, Bootstrap, Jquery, MySQL and PostGresSQL.

4. Familiar with cloud deployment and hosting.

5. Experience in the most current technologies and products used in the industry.

6. Ability to multi-task across multi projects effectively, and work within tight timelines.
