Product Designer - UX/UX Lead

Geosnapshot: At GeoSnapShot, we connect photographers with sports photography gigs helping them make money by selling snaps on our platform. We also provide a platform for some of the largest sporting organisations allowing them to manage their events, photographers, photos and sell to their customers.

We're looking to bring on a Product Designer onto our team to help us in building a compelling user experience for the various people who use our platform.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Research, Prototype & Design interfaces for mobile & web.
2. Build user personas & journeys and identify ways to improve the current interfaces and flows.
3. Work with Product / Business each step of the way as we execute on our product roadmap.
3. Utilize the user research tools to understand pain points in the platform and work out design solutions to address them.
4. Build and iterate on a compelling design language for the GeoSnapShot brand and create a design system for the platform.

Experience & Skills:

1. Prior experience in designing multiple cross-platform digital experiences for atleast 3 years. As long as you have an extensive portfolio of work, this does not matter significantly.
3. Have designed user interfaces for mobile and desktop.
2. Have skills & opinions on how to structure the design process including ideation & user-research.
3. Fluent in mocking up interfaces in a low fidelity medium.
4. Strong communication skills with a keen interest in keeping stakeholders close throughout the process.
5. Fluent with any of the latest & greatest design tooling - Sketch, Figma, XD, etc.
6. Extensive portfolio of prior work / case studies and be willing to talk through design decisions you've taken in those projects.
7. Prior work that demonstrates your aesthetic sense for clean & simple design.
8. Open to exploring successful product experiences and be able to adapt those ideas.
9. Keen on constant learning and be willing to mentor and grow a design team.

About our team: We're a tiny team spread between Australia & India. Leadership, support, sales & product are based in Sydney and a tightly knit team in India driving design & engineering.
