React / User Interfaces / Applications Developer

Fybr (fybr.com), is a 20 year old business based in St. Louis, Missouri. We do most of our Hardware and Firmware engineering in our St. Louis lab. About 4 years ago, we opened an office in Bangalore where we do majority of our Server and Application engineering.

We are regarded a market leader in the Smart Parking vertical, having executed the largest street parking sensor deployment in the world, with 11000+ devices as part of San Francisco's SFPark program. We’ve also deployed sensors on the streets of several other North American cities including Montreal, Dallas and the latest one in downtown Washington DC.

Over the last few years, we've started to take our core expertise in building robust low-power wireless device networks and our experience from large installations across cities and are turning it into an IoT platform for Smart Cities.

Our worldwide engineering team of 20 people (including both hardware and software) needs a talented UI developer with strong React / JavaScript skills. We are looking for someone experienced in working with web technologies and having a good sense of visual design.
Here are some of things we're looking for in the person who will play this role:

• Demonstrable understanding of working with JavaScript in different projects.
• Experience with latest JavaScript tools (npm, webpack, Babel) and standards (ES6 and beyond)
• Knowledge of React.js and familiarity with Flux, Reflux or Redux.
• Up to date with the latest HTML and CSS best practices.
• Experience with Responsive Design and CSS Grids Systems.
• Good understanding of DOM and the quirkiness of browsers.
• Experience with node.js, vagrant and shell scripting would be a huge plus.
