Game programmer

At Fields of View, we design games and simulations. We are a Bangalore-based research group, and we are looking for a full-time candidate for the role of programmer. The candidate must possess 3-5 years of prior experience in software development with C++/C# and strong fundamentals. Experience developing games in Unity/ UDK or similar platforms would be an advantage. Women programmers are encouraged to apply.

Being a research organisation, we encourage all our researchers to explore new avenues of both research and practice.

The programmer will have the following responsibilities.
Game programming in UDK/ Unity or other similar systems - This will involve programming in either very high level languages like C#, or high level languages like C++ along with implementation of fundamental vector based algorithms.
Software design - Providing software design and programming assistance to various projects which require implementation of models on the computer.

The candidate will be working in an interdisciplinary team of artists, social scientists, and other programmers, and has to communicate and work with people from diverse backgrounds. The candidate will be expected to pick up new tools and languages based on needs of projects. Ability to work independently, and the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently is important.
