Full Stack Developer

JD for Software Development Engineer

We are looking for a Full Stack Web Developer responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users as well as translating the UI/UX design wire frames to actual code that will produce the visual elements of the application. The developer will also build and manage the Mobile application which is an integrated part of the overall product solution.

Responsibilities
• Design of the overall architecture of the application
• Implementation of a robust set of services and APIs to power the web and mobile applications
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use
• Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
• Implementation of security and data protection
• Translation of UI/UX wireframes to visual elements
• Integration of the front-end and back-end aspects of the web application
• Rapid prototyping

Skills and Qualifications
• Knowledge of Ruby on Rails, AngularJS, MongoDB preferred. Alternately Node.js
• Understanding of RESTful APIs
• Thorough with using Git
• Must be able to adapt quickly to changing requirements, scope and priorities
• Excellent understanding of Object Oriented Programming and MVC
• Performance optimization, SQL tuning, caching techniques is a plus
• Data migration, transformation, and scripting
• Management of hosting environment, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Ability to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Experience using tools such as Kafka, Elasticsearch, kibana and SPARK 
• Familiarity with tools such as as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus

It would be a plus if: 
- Good in analysing and solving problems 
- Passionate to work in a start-up 
- Research new technology trends, come up with suggestions and roll out the same
