Chief Technology Officer

We are looking for passionate, talented, and highly motivated hands-on CTO with strong problem-solving skills and strong on development fundamentals to work with a global brand in consumer reward space with over 10 million users.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural and topology design, new technology evaluation and integration planning activities.

• Lead the technical design, implementation, and optimization of the web application.

• Be hands-on and create awesome code (python) with the rest of the team

• Build and lead a top-tier team in Mumbai & remote locations.

• Obsess about quality and performance establishing a continuous delivery process

• Transparent, confident and focused on the development and success of the team

• Ability to lead innovation and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve success demonstrating a collaborative style

• Keep abreast of leading-edge technologies; anticipate and react to major technology changes to ensure the maintenance of company leadership in the competitive landscape

• Create a culture of quality, agility and high performance enabling the company to attract, develop and retain outstanding talent

• Play key role to help to improve and to optimize the product development process in an agile (SCRUM) development environment

• Mentor and guide a team of top-notch full stack engineers across levels to ensure software engineering lifecycle best practices are followed

• Establish and supervise a quality assurance process, including integration & system testing

• Ensure high-quality documentation is developed and maintained.

• Rigorously monitor key performance metrics and coordinate with various teams to take corrective actions if needed

Requirements

• Senior full-stack developer with 5+ years of experience in architecture design, product development, databases and UI/UX in consumer-facing applications.

• Proven track record of building large-scale, highly reliable, and highly available cloud-based applications

• Experience in agile software development and in the ScrumMaster role

• Bs/MS Computer Science degree from a reputed institute.

• Creative self-starter who is comfortable with both taking initiative and working in teams

• Strong communication skills

• Willingness to learn and utilize emerging technologies

• Sincere passion to change the world
