Network Engineer (3+ years)

Position: Network Engineer

Location: Kochi, Kerala

Requirements:

• Strong Previous experience as Network engineer (3-5 years) 
• Experience with Cisco and Juniper switches and routers
• Strong understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, STP, MPLS, NPG, OSPF, OSI Model, EVPN, SIP, VoIP
• Experience with Enterprise Wired and Wireless networking
• Strong understanding of Virtualization technology including Hyper-V, VMWare and VCenter
• Experience with server deployment and upgrades including cloud deployments
• Understanding of Active Directory and various Windows Server roles and features
• Excellent English communication and writing skills
• Background in providing excellent Customer Service to end-users in the US, US territories or other English speaking countries

Preferred qualifications:

• CCNA/CCNP/JNCIA/JNCIS certifications
• Demonstrated ability to automate basic tasks in Perl, Python, Ruby or Java

Additionally, the engineer for this position should know that they will be handling both Tier I and Tier II support issues will be coordinating and managing communication and ticket resolution between our Tier III contractors in both India and the US.  They will be responsible for ensuring all tickets are worked on and resolved within a timely manner.
