Elanic is looking for an Android Developer who is passionate about pushing the limits of mobile technologies and will work with our team of talented developers and designers to build a state of the art consumer centric application.

What you will be doing

• Working on major components and new features of Elanic Android App
• Working with components such as RxJava, EventBus, Dagger
• Integrating REST APIs with the Android App
• Working with camera and image compression to get the best snaps
• Working with the Elanic design & product folks to build a UI/UX that stands out among the best Android Interfaces
• Building the key architectural pieces (such as MVP) to make development easier, more fun and pragmatic
• Collaborating with Back-end Developers and Designers to constantly improve the android app
• Writing Unit & Integration Test cases using automation tools like Espresso, Mockito, etc

What we are looking for

• Someone with strong basics of Java and OOP in general
• Someone who cares about building experiences that are used and loved by millions
• Someone with prior Android application development experience (6+ months) (application lifecycle, networking, data management, understanding of android layouts/hierarchies)
• Someone who is self-motivated to explore new technologies and pays excellent attention to details
• Someone with a passion for trying and building innovative things
• Someone who is familiar with Git

• You are passionate about open source and contribute
